In brief

Why Heroes of Tomorrow

Why I started Heroes of Tomorrow

As a child, I endlessly asked why. Why does it have to be that way? Can’t it be done differently? I never lost that question, and it led me, through all sorts of jobs, to marketing.

At later agencies, I mostly saw what went wrong: marketing without direction, choices without a why. So in 2023 I set up on my own.

In online marketing since 2013

From client side to agency

I’ve worked on online marketing and campaigns since 2013: first freelance and in-house on the client side. In 2017 I moved to an agency as an SEO specialist, where colleagues helped each other out like family.

If you got someone out of a jam, you’d hear: “Thanks, you’re a hero.” That feeling is where our name comes from.

SEO team lead

Seeing what goes wrong

As a team lead at several agencies, I saw how often marketing runs without direction. Channels because you have to, budget because you can.

That experience shapes how we work now: the why first, then the plan. And an honest no when something won’t help a franchise brand move forward.

Focus on franchising

Fully franchise since 2026

Since January 2026, we’ve focused entirely on franchise brands. Deliberately, because franchise marketing is a discipline of its own.

Head office wants control over the brand, the franchisee wants room to manoeuvre. Finding that balance is exactly what our approach is about.
