The event

On 4 and 5 October 2025, the NH Hotel Koningshof in Veldhoven became the epicentre of audio & hi-fi: the Dutch Audio Event. With more than 70 exhibitors, 250 international brands and over 70 listening rooms across 4,800 square metres, it is the largest audio & hi-fi show in the Benelux. A weekend full of inspiration, live demos, the latest technology and pure experience.

The challenge

In 2025, the Dutch Audio Event wanted to take the next step:
more visibility, greater reach and above all more online ticket sales.

The organisers wanted to appeal not only to regular visitors but also to a new audience: men aged 25 to 65 with a passion for sound, technology and experience.

The challenge was finding the right balance between informing and converting. First, the audience had to know the event existed and why it was unique. Then came the moment to persuade them: “Get your tickets now.”

Approach

We started with the foundation: a tight tracking setup using Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 and Meta. That let us measure every click, interaction and conversion and keep sharpening our strategy.

The strategy: a two-phase Meta campaign on Facebook and Instagram.

Phase 1. Visibility and experience

Two months before the event, the informational campaigns went live. With photos, videos and carousels, we brought the event’s atmosphere and quality to life, testing different audiences and ad copy to find out what really resonated.

Phase 2. Conversion and urgency

Three weeks before the event, we switched to sales campaigns. With remarketing, lookalikes and conversion-focused ads, we targeted people who had already engaged. The tone became more direct and the message more urgent: “Get your tickets now”, “Are 4 and 5 October in your diary yet?” and “Don’t miss it.”

The campaign’s strength lay in combining creativity, data and timing: build data first, then make every euro count. By optimising continuously and varying images, videos and carousels, we reached exactly the right people with the right message.

The result

The Dutch Audio Event gained nationwide visibility, reached a whole new group of audio and hi-fi enthusiasts and firmly established itself as the largest audio & hi-fi show in the Benelux. Within the target audience, we generated relevant reach, high-quality website visitors and hundreds of direct ticket sales.

Just as important, the event grew in recognition, professionalism and online presence. The Dutch Audio Event 2025 proved that even a niche event can become big if you know how to move people with the right story at the right moment.
